Phone calls and Emails does not work with Indian Consulates, I had received an advice from one of well wisher and sent a fax for the status of my childs PIO card, after sending fax they sent my passport within 3 days :), This is just my personal experience for the Indian consualte in Washington DC. So give a try FAX may work..

I'm in the similar situation as indian111.
I filed for my wife's EAD in the late May (e-file TSC).
Receipt date is May 29th.
Soft LUD on June 6th
FP done on June 21st
no updates, no changes after that. there is no LUD after FP. It's been 66 days since filed. Does any one know if I can take Infopass appointement before I complete 90 days of pending status and see what's going on? Or do I have to wait until 90 days are complete? any experiences?

The good thing is now we are seeing some approvals, so i think everything is back moving again.

So far, there is no provision of 485 filing without priority date becoming current. Has this failed too? Just two weeks before Feb. 15th. I guess the fate of this provision is determined now.
It seems that nothing can happen before Feb. 15th. Even the H1 increase has not happened yet. Democrats do not seem to be immigration-friendly as many expected before. No hope for CIR this year. No hope for SKIL this year. What a miserable situation!

When every one send individual letter, they will read the first one and then will just ignore others. Because the content and issue is same. When we 50+ people send one neatly drafted letter...I am sure it will draw considerable attention. Ron is willing to help us. I am not sure if we need to hire him for this. If so, how many of you ready to share the expense.
We have around 75 peope in this thread. If we every one puts in 50 to 100 dollars on an average per person.. It will be 5000 dollars to pay as a fee to Ron to help us with this cause. We can channel this fee through IV.

I went over the instructions for EAD filing and wanted to confirm the following before I went ahead with the filing.
1. The fee is $340
2. I need to send it to Phoenix lockbox as I reside in Illinois.

100% agree with confidence. My prediction based on statistical analysis (That is the only thing I have regulary done since 1999 and still doing .. no end to this tunnel...:eek:) is as under. Yopu would see +- 2 months here and there in every bulletin.

You can request them for a separate fastrack queue for legal high skilled, currently employed, workers who can buy a house with a substantial down payment. This has been making rounds in various news papers except for IV. In this economic climate, it's worthwhile atleast to make a such a proposal.

I just checked my online status this morning. It had not changed since I filed but now I saw a LUD in today’s date. I checked the case status and both me and my wife have the Card Production Status. No emails or text just the update:). BTW my case is with NSC

I thought, 15000 members was a small goal. But I guess we have to start with even smaller goals. I agree with Amit.
There's too much at stake to give up this campaign. Without membership, we are a weak bunch. To fight organized campaigns by groups such as Numbersusa we need the member strength.
Let us aim for 8000 members by Jan 15th. Current membership stands at 7919. We need just 80 members to reach the 8000 mark. If 10% of the current membership brings ONE member by Jan 15th, we can easily reach that target. With 300000 immigrants in this kind of quagmire, cant we get 80 people? I believe we can.
Let's join hands one more time and try to Add just ONE member by Jan15th. It is for our own sakes we will be doing it, so let's do it!!!
