THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH FOR PRECISE REPLY BUEHLER but am I not within my legal right to work for any hospital branch because they are all with one name.
My final question would be YES I was told that I will have a new ID and new payroll number and a separate paycheck but what can be done to rectify this situation. Like do they have to amend the H1B petition(mine is a non-cap hospital--- a charity hospital).
My H1B stipulates that I am a full-timer with 40 hrs per week but starting from next week it is going to be 32 sometimes and 40 hrs some weeks as we are not seeing many patients into our hospital due to the economy,jobs etc.
What is the solution. Do I have to move to a different job or can there be a solution to work for the same company (in different branches)

A little update; I was asked to send some of these pictures to Sveriges Ornitologiska F�rening (main ornithological society), and the pics are now on their home page (http://www.sofnet.org) with a short story (http://www.sofnet.org/index.asp?lev=2125&typ=1) . I looked at converting to RIR but there seems to be no point in changing. There is no guarantee that an RIR application will be processed before an TR. Also, they are picking up applications in random order and not FIFO. So, I decided against the conversion.

What is the purpose of this poll? Why start from 2005 (and not from 2001) ?

Thanks again for all answers - Another Q that i had is - i am applying for a extension of my H1 Visa. My current validity is till June 2008. My 6 years will be completed in August 2009. I have a approved I-140!
My Q is - can i apply for a 3 year extension right now based on my 140 approval.? That is - can i extend H1 from July 2008 till June 2011..?? OR do i have to wait to complete all 6 years till i can use the benefit of the 140 approval for H1 extension?

Take the fp notice addressed to u which u got by mail.Lawyer's copy will have his address on it.Lawyer's copy is only an alternative if u do not recieve ur fp notice.When u have the original,u take urs !Cool!

1. Can USCIS deny 485 solely due to lack of BC/NABC ? if yes then What are the chances of denial ? No chance - i did for me and got GC .
2. If the officer does not think that consulate BC is enough, will they deny 485 or issue another RFE? consulate BC is NOT enough .
3. Do you know anyone whose 485 was denied simply for no BC/NABC reason?

I just came back from doc..and he charged 400 dollars (xray will cost more in next few days. Anyways, he says he need to administer Tetnus 3 times (6 months apart).
I am not sure what he will say in report (which i get in couple of days). But my question to you all is :
When Shots are given with time lag, Is 485 processed normally or RFE happens or do USCIS just wait for all shots to be completed and submission of report by doc before they process anything?

1. Logically HUD document should work but again we are talking about Indian government so not sure. Insurance document might not work and I'm almost certain about it.
2. Notarizing: If the website says "Photocopy of all supporting documents including Photo should be notarized and attached to the application" then yes..

I cannot give you an example, since I don't know anybody doing that. AFAIK, if the H1 document, does not come with the I-94, then you have to leave the country and enter to get into H1b status. However, if you do get the I-94 stub, you need not travel thru POI.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently expanded the reinstatement of premium processing for I-140 petitions. This is a subtle change, still limiting I-140 premium processing to a small group of cases for which the I-140 approval is needed in order to obtain eligibility for additional H1B time. The change was effective March 2, 2009. The expansion includes individuals who have already reached the end of their six years in H1B status, who would be eligible for additional time upon the approval of the I-140 petition. You didn't say what kind of batteries. If they were Ni-Cads or NiMH, they only supply 1.2 volts. The D100 requires 1.5 volts.
Also, you might try mounting a newer AF lens to it just to see if its the older lens. Hopefully the lens you used isn't pre-1977. If so, you may have damaged the body.
