I too am forced to use Lotus Notes at work. Maybe it hasn't been "implemented properly" in my office, but it is a horrible, awful thing. Even common commands are hidden deep inside nondescript menus and any attempt at customizing anything ends with frustration. I would hope that this bloated piece of software crap stays far, far away from the Mac platform forever.

How hard is it to uncheck these two boxes?
http://img713.imageshack.us/img713/6509/onek.png
And other publications, like The Economist, already come with the equivalent boxes unchecked by default.
Stop confusing the issue with facts and evidence. ;)

There was an article about an 11 year old girl who was gangraped in Texas by 18 young men because she was dressed up like a 21-year-old prostitute.
So if she was really a 21 year old prostitute, the gang rape is okay then?

The real problem here is that not enough women are standing in front of their mirrors after dressing and asking themselves "if I get raped wearing this, will I be blamed?"

You went back to school and you didn't learn how to bill or control a client? Your very first mistake was booking a $75 job with a 3 hour time limit. If that is all someone can afford, then don't work for them. In my experience, the cheaper they are, the more demanding they usually are. Your second mistake was giving the power to your client and not billing him for phone time. You didn't manage the job and you paid the price. I bet you didn't even have a signed contract.
Hi. You're right about my lack of pricing knowledge. I remember when I was in school I would often ask instructors about pricing and they would kind of cryptically shy away from it. It would be good if they added a class about pricing and ethics to the curriculum, or at least provided students with a packet containing basic pricing guidelines.

Can we please stop calling it a "2G" Shuffle now? That is the single stupidest naming convention I have ever seen, and will continue to cause confusion well into the future. Even "G2" and up is better now, thanks to the demise of the PowerPC.

Apple already released a new iPhone this year... remember? The one that works on a CDMA network! You really think they would put all that work into rolling out the CDMA iPhone 4 in February then turn around 4 months later and expect these people to buy an iPhone 5? You know how many pissed off Verizon people there would be? June 2012 at the earliest... ;)

....the war was perfectly justified.
Not that war is ever justified ....
War is only a "bad" or "illegal" thing it seems when it's happening to you.....
Your thinking seems to contradict yourself back and forth.
Are you really saying that because Japan had limited natural resources it was justified in seizing Korea, invading Manchuria, invading China, attacking the Soviets, invading Indonesia, and attacking any country that decided not to resupply Japan's war machine?
I'd say you're totally wrong in trying to justify Japan's war of expansion
