Agreed. This doesn't sound correct. I have a corporate discount and added the feature. I still have the discount.
When this initially was announced and after holding for a long time while the rep checked, ATT told me verbally that the dicounted $29.95/450 min plan would go to regular $39.95 regular price if I wanted the unlimited mobile to mobile with unlimited texting but it in fact wasn't the case. I was able to do it online. The first day or so of the promotion the site was giving me an error whenI tried to make the change but I was able to do it on day 2 or 3. I verified earlier today that my discount rate was still in tact and I had the unLim Mob to Mob.

Of course not. However, there are certain cases where the death penalty should be applied. The arizona shooter for example who killed a 9 year old girl and many others, he should be fried. It's not like there's any possible chance he could be innocent. While i don't buy the argument that the death penalty costs more than life in prison, even if this argument was factually true, i would still support the death penalty. There's just no reason for some people to be alive after what they've done.

Eh, people are reading the data completely wrong. The iPhone 4 dropped on Verizon in mid to late February and had 2.2mil activations by the end of the quarter (roughly 6-7 weeks later), at & t had it for roughly six weeks (almost double the time of Verizon) and only managed 3.6 mil activations. Verizon is activating MORE iPhones than AT&T at a faster rate, including the 3GS deal.
Im trying to figure out why media sites keep getting this so hopelessly wrong. This device sold 2 million+ units being a ten month old product in SIX WEEKS. Do you realize that that is nearly 15% of the lifetime sales of the most successful line of android phones (the galaxy s) in six weeks? If that's bad then **** according to this logic android is really ****ed.

I recently bought a macbook pro, and the only thing i dont like is that i keep (mistakenly) expanding websites, the desktop, etc, with my fingers on the trackpad... I went to the preferences but couldn't figure out how to shut "zooming" off?!

Alright so I jailbroke my iPod touch 3rd gen with 4.2.1 using Redsn0w, and installed cydia just fine, however while using cydia the iPod shut off unexpectedly, now as I'm trying to "Just boot tethered right now" the jailbreak gets stuck on "exploiting with limera1n". Help please?

That was an awesome read. I am VERY interested in the removable graphics part. I really wanted the 6970m - but the 27" is physically not possible - so I'm stuck with the 6770m.
Can any comment on the possibility of upgrading your GPU down the road if needed?

Hi all,
Had a google around and can't find much on this and wondered whether anybody has seen this before or knows why this might be happening...The file server is a 10.6.6 Snow Leopard install with Sharepoints being mapped over both AFP and Samba. As an example of the current networked environment I have the following:
User A - Computer A: Windows 7 (Office Basic 2007 installed)
User B - Computer B: Intel iMac 10.6.6 with Office 2008 installed
User C - Server Administrative Account
A 'Management' AFP/SMB share that has permissions set on the root folder:
ACL:
User A - Allow/Full Control/This Folder,Child Folder, Child Files, All Descendants
User B - Allow/Full Control/This Folder,Child Folder, Child Files, All Descendants
User C - Allow/Full Control/This Folder,Child Folder, Child Files, All Descendants
Everyone - Deny/Read (So the share is hidden to other groups and users)
POSIX:
User C - Allow/Read Write/This Folder
Staff - No Access
Others - No Access
(I'm sure wheel should be here too??? - Couldn't find a way to add it!)
Now the problem is that when User A creates any type of office document and saves it, User B can see the documents in the share but when they click on it, the file vanishes from the share! When checking the permissions on the file itself, it seems that when User A creates or edits a new or existing file that the permissions get overwritten as:
User A - Read Write
Everyone - No Access
The same happens when User B creates an Office document and User A opens or edits it!
I also have Strict Locking enabled for the SMB protocol
Have I set the permissions incorrectly or is this just a generic SMB problem??
Any help would be appreciated!!

One even more important change, which I KNOW they won't do, is use a universal radio chip that can support GOS and CDMA networks - no more having to buy a new phone every time you switch carriers - oops, that cuts agains Apple's AND the carriers interest - not much traction there.
It could potentially reduce Apple's manufacturing costs, so there may be some traction there.
