Your arguments are baseless. No company will ever hire an H1B to replace an equally qualified Citizen/Green card holder. Company has to spend a lot on H1B employees on lawyer fees and other complications.

For 2 times a day AD, for a month would cost $1000 + $300 (One time, Ad prep cost) = $1300. It would cost $1000 (from month 2 onward)
If we sign-up for a year, they give a free program for 30 minutes (10 minutes intro/conclusion etc, so 20 minutes really).
If we only want to do the 1/2hr program, it would cost $500.
In my opinion, distributing fliers is the BEST and Most cost-effective option. Because our goal (with any type of marketing) is to bring-in more membership/contribution, paying $1800 (1 month ad + 1 program) = 90 people pitching-in for $20 contribution.
I say we leave this Radio/TV Ads option, and just concentrate on distributing fliers and meeting with congressmen/congresswomen as a group in addition to meeting them 1:1.

I belive, IV MUST talk to CNN and force them to accept the "error" in that article publicly by publishing at earliest.

Same boat as you! Legally in this country for more than 11 years! Hope they approve on time. Debating whether to extend the EAD or wait for the card
I wouldn't think of not renewing my EAD if I were you. Of course I don't know your case details, but if your EAD is expiring anytime soon, just renew it. Its worth the $380 or so you will have to shell out. Not to dishearten you (or myself) but I know someone who has been waiting to get a GC and he has a PD of Jun 2001. u never know how long it might take...

I dont agreee with this dvb guy. 5 years legally is lots of time. And I now know people who are 10-15 years here. He will want to say the same tthing even in that case. Instead learn to rationalize and make sure if one thinks one is eligivle, then see how one can get included.crab behavior, the one at bottom pulls down the one thats climbing up. Someone said it takes about two months for G-28 to take effect. Sometime jobs changes may not allow that much time. So for that duration RFE or other documents may still go to last attorney. Is there a way to do it online or request for immediate transfer?
Also - if we represent self and later for some complex cases we need experienced attorney help do we need to file G-28 again?

If the restrictions in H1b comes then I may be impacted also many of my friends and relatives may be impacted. For our personal lives H1b and green card are important if we want to stay in USA. My point is if congress make sure that if I or you will not take any eligible US persons job in USA that is acceptable for me. That will make sure everyone happy

Big consulting companies(Bearing point....my list will go on) that are plenty in the US who hire and fire H1-B and american born if they cannot find another client for them after few days.
What will happen to these companies .. they have to shut down

My guess in July and August is that they have used around 11000.

It has to do with the labor processing. Before PERM was implemented, Labor certificate took a long time for a lot of States. So a lot of EB2 people was stuck in the labor cerfiticate stage when EB2 was current. Now they've passed that stage and are waiting.

1. EB2 was current for India ALL THROUGH 2003
2. EB2 was current for India ALL THROUGH 2004
3. EB2 was current for India till August 2005
4. After the retrogression in 2005, EB2 India moved up quickly through 2003-2004 to April 2004 by the beginning of 2007
5. Even after the summer 2007 fiasco (EB2 Current fro July, August 2007), the priority date for EB2 India moved to April 2004 and stayed there for 3 months

The author of the blog responded with legal statute that explains how unused numbers of FB & EB from previous years are used for next year. But no link to justify 13,000 number.

Is it possible that my prevous employer hasn't revoked 140? How can I know that? I have received RFE after one year after filing the case. Is there any way I can know the date when my previous employer did revoke the 140 ( in case he did)?

Your best bet is to suck it up and return to your sponsoring employer. That will ensure your case 100%. Any other option is risky.
Go to a knowledged attorney. Khanna, Murthy, Gotcher etc., are the names I know.

My attorney sent the response last week and it was delivered to the Dallas, TX. I am little concerned that my attorney actually sent the response to a courier address rather than the PO Box for TSC that they ask you to send. So far I have not seen any updates on my case.

RFE Response sent (MAIlED) : 09/29/10
(IN USPS to PO BOX by Express mail)
RFE Response Received by USICS : 09/30/10 ( On line update on same day). - Hard LUD

Approval update : Hard LUD 10/05/10.
