My EAD & AP application reached NSC on 8/7/2007..TODAY - 11/5 is the 90th. day.! I am done with FP 2 weeks ago. 90 days is counted from " RECD. DATE " right and not
" Notice Date..." ? Since USCIS is supp. to process EAD's within 90 days and they have not for me - i am planning to take INFOPASS appt for EAD.! Can i schedule a AP appt. for the same day.?

Using AP does not necessarily mean that one is using the EAD. It is just a document that allows you to travel when needed.
Elaine you can correct if I am wrong ? I had a question though... say the H1-B is valid for more than 1 year but if AP is used the I-94 given would be of only 1 year, should we then extend the I-94 or is our H1-B valid till the duration it is approved for..

I just received all the receipts for I-140/I-485/I765/I-131 from TSC.
As some stupid questions:
- I noticed a number above my name: A0xx xxx xxx. Is this an alien number?
- If so please someone explain since I have my PD on 04/24/2001 I never noticed this number (I might be wrong). It is something good or bad or what this number mean?
- Also, just to have an idea, after all are approved (hopefully without unexpected delays) how long until I have that plastic card GC in my hand?
- any small clue will be greatly appreciated.

They don't get free renewal .. they have to pay everytime they renew their EAD/AP. :(
luckily right now we can get 2 years EAD for every renewal (some conditions apply).

I am speaking from experience. Download the forms needed for filing 485, EAD and AP. Then when your attorney send you his/her set ( normally they do this in 2 stages - one they will send you a draft copy to verify and correct all info - some have online questionnaire; stage two - they send the final forms for you to verify and sign again - this they may do paper copy or online PDF - that cannot be edited - not fill able forms).
So, here I am providing links to all forms that I know are needed. These from uscis.gov site are fill able. Weekend is coming. Fill them, and print and keep them.

Please implement PD and Dependents ASAP. Stick this link on main page so that we can refer easily to our friends.

My ND is Sept. 17, 2007 and RD is Aug 7, 2007.
Hopefully someone picks up my file from the dungeon and at least remembers me... :)

Does it mean they are now looking at apps based on RD, even if PD is not current? I was current in Aug/Sep, but I didn't hear anything (as possibily for them a date closer to ND is the "date received", which for me is Oct07, although my RD is 2July07).

I think you mean I need to see which dates are processing @ NSC; if my I-140 reciept date exceed more than 60 days then I can request my Attorney to got for SR(Service Request)?

The cheapest way will be to give some $50-75 to the immigrationpro.com attorney. They will answer your questions through email. At least you have some opinion to verify with. I would also suggest to go through the yellow pages and find immigration lawyers who give you first hour free consultation. Do not rely on people like me for the prefessional opinion. Even though we have good things in mind, we are not prefessional lawyers. Get 4-5 professional opinion and then you will automatically know what is the truth.

I have few questions on filling AP document.
1) What could be the best reason to write on 131 document. USCIS says it should be family emergency or business. I am going on family visit. If i write "Family visit" will it be a problem ie RFE from USCIS saying that reason for travel is not good or something else.
2) I live in Phoenix, Arizona. Should i send 131 to texas service center or california. All my 485 & 140 were with TSC. Coz when i goes to USCIS website, Arizona state is not covered by TSC.

Yes, you should have applied in 1999, before the labor and visa backlogs. ;) (I kid - above posters are correct, you *may* have enough time if you can get PERM and I-140 done very quickly, then apply for three year ext.)

I got the paperwork from my attorney for my wife's 485 as they want us to be ready so that if dates are current, we just mail the paperwork without having to start at that time.
However, my wife is pregnant and i am not sure if medical examinations are possible. What are my options ?
Complete medicals without the vaccines, etc which cannot be taken during pregnancy. The Civil surgeon shoould make a note on the medical report that the applicant is pregnant and so medical is incomplete.
When your 485 is picked up for processing, an RFE will be issued and then she can complete the rest.
