I am planning to file a Fed Court case against USCIS for incorrect denial of I148 with AC21.
Appreciate if have any input/info on below,

1. How much typically a Fed court case cost?
2. Any recommendation of good attorney for this?
3. Any other information/input

F1 means International Student and so you are not California Resident for tuition purpose (UCs, CSUs and any state funded institution e.g. community colleges follow this practice).

Private institutions don't care, usually fee is same.

For taxation purpose, you are resident of CA and will be paying taxes on earnings.

Hello Mike,
I was about to launch Swift 3D and try what you were having problems with, but I found another solution that might work better. The best thing I would recommend that you try would be to use Flash for all the modification of the keyframes, etc.

I always use a separate Movie instance in Flash to import all my Swift 3D animations. Also, for the sake of file size, I only work on one Swift 3D animation at once. I then import that animation and any other animations to Flash itself. Within Flash, you can customize how many times you wish for the animation to loop, crop out extraneous frames, etc.

Try that method. Use Swift 3D for the initial 3D rendering and animation. Use Flash for the keyframe modifications, etc. Swift 3D has a very clunky keyframe interface, and it is not very user friendly.

When did you apply for AP renewal? Did you e-file? Don't worry about RFE on Advance Parole renewal. It could be photo or previous AP approval copy or I-485 receipt missing or incorrect fee. Wait until you get RFE. Please let us know, if it is trivial.

July�07 filer - H1-B renewal after filing I-485 (12th Year)

Can I renew H1-B (12th year) after filed 485. Don�t want to use EAD in order to maintain my wife�s H4.

The AC21 document covers before I-485 filing stage. But not covering after 485 filed and retrogressed situation.

I have filed my I-485 during July 2007 as like many others. My PD is March 2004
Got married after the filing and still maintaining my H1 and brought my wife on H4.

I need to renew my H1 as it is getting expired in April. Not able to use EAD as need to maintain my wife�s H4.

This is my 12th year H1 renewal.

6 year 2005
1 year 2006
1 year 2007
3 year 2010


Question - Is H1-B extension rule applicable only for I140 approval/(labor 365 days) or is it allowed even after filing 485? And is it allowed after 11 years for additional 3 years?

I am planning on using AC21 to switch employers. since it says that the new job should be in the same job classification, how do I know what classification my labor was approved in? I have a copy of the approval notice and under occupation it says consultant and it has the following code after it:
189167030. anybody knows what this code means or how I can find out my jobe code?

Hi All

I did paper based filing through lawyer on may 5 with check $340 has been encashed and I waited now 2 weeks but still there is no receipt notice in mail.
SO i called my bank and ask them whether there any receipt number on the back of check but agent told me that there are no 13 digit number just bank stamp and there is only one 9 digit number that he has given me but on the case status thats a invalid number

Please help as I am worried that if evry thing is fine or should I e-file as well as my licence is also expiring next month now how should get a reciept number

if you efile ..you will end up paying $340 again. when is yr EAD expiring and why did you wait so long ?? if you think the lawyer filled everything correctly then I would say wait for a week (consult yr lawyer too) !!

I think the ability to get an emergency 90 day EAD at the local field offices if they delayed more than 90 days is still there as it is there on the USCIS web page. No???

Sorry, doesn't do much for me. Can you get the monitor with a game onscreen to reflect on the joystick in some way?
I thought toys would be an easy one, but everything I've thought of seems so obvious and cliched. I think you have the right idea, just don't think this one is it.

what are the complications of applying to eb2 if there is only 3 year degree bachelor degree? Have a masters degree from Singapore - will that be enough to qualify?

IMO there is a good chance you will qualify for EB2. When doing educational evaluation, you should base your claim on your masters degree. That way you would qualify.

If yes then you should be fine but with or without original 797 and no stamping in passport it will be difficult to get into USA. Unless you have AP to get back into USA. Hope this help. Good luck for your travel tomorrow.

I was sarcastic, if you didn't get it. INS/government always had monopoly over giving out of GCs(the constitution guarantees it for them). They never had competition about it. You're kidding yourself to think that you can sue them on anti-trust laws. Some other laws may be but definitely not anti-trust laws.

clarify21: You can not have two status (ead & h1b) at the same time. Either your are on H1B or EAD (Pending AOS). If you would like to maintain the H1B status, for the part time job, you will have to ask your part time employer to do the new H1B; by having two H1Bs you can work for two employers the same time. By doing this, H1B and EAD both are valid. The moment you use EAD, your H1B status is invalid. Have a talk with your attorney. Hope this helps.

Hello,

I am Dec 02/EB3/India candidate. Currently using EAD/AP to work. No H1b visa.

My current project � SAP PI implementation requires me to travel to London / Ontario, Canada, on a weekly basis. This is going to be for few months at least. Employer is in US, major work place will be US, still working with original employer who filed GC; even residence is in US.

Has anyone travel more than once on AP?
Is that ok or there are risk factors?
Has anyone traveled on AP using car by road? How is experience compared to enter via airport?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

I had my parents and my grandmom visit me last year. All three of them went together for the visa interview at Delhi. The only question the officer asked my father was - Why do you want to take your Mom to visit the US 'now'? and my dad replied, 'If I do not take her now, when will I take her?'. They all got a 10 year visa.
